Hi! I bring to AthensBorn a wealth of counseling knowledge and compassionate, non-judgmental support from my years working as a campus minister right here in Athens. I also bring a sense of joy and lightness to my doula practice - I believe that each family we work with can enjoy their birth and look back on it as an empowering experience. ​It's completely possible to laugh your way through labor :) Each of our clients becomes someone to care for as if she were my own sister (whom I adore!). I also bring my own (real life) experiences... as a single mother of two and as a member of the LGBTQ+ community... with me as I serve families through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Trust me when I say you are not alone.
