Hello! My name is Heather Clark, and I am pursuing my labor doula certification through Childbirth International. I’ve been interested in birth work for as long as I can remember, and this enthusiasm has especially grown and deepened since my first child was born 8 years ago. It has become a passion of mine to help other parents feel supported and truly seen as they navigate the ups, downs, and unknowns that come with pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. As a doula, I strive to embrace birthing people and their partners with non-judgmental and empathetic care, support, and resources. My goal is to help you feel informed and empowered to make decisions that feel right for your family, and to help you achieve a positive birth experience – whatever that looks like to you. It would be my honor to walk alongside you on your journey.

A little about me: I have three children, ages 8, 5, and 2. I enjoy spending time with my husband, kids, and dogs and exploring the outdoors together. You’ll also find me heavily involved in our Athens community through the Athens Parent Wellbeing organization.
