Bereavement & Infant Loss Support

We offer this support to those in need of a compassionate presence and a safe space during times of infant loss (whether during pregnancy or in cases of expected stillbirth). We can help you navigate this journey and all the complicated emotions you may experience. Every person and every family deals with loss in a very personal way. At AthensBorn, we will respect your choices and support you on your journey.

We will start with a conversation, over the phone or in person, that will help us tailor our services to fit your unique needs. We will then provide phone and email support, a loving presence at any necessary procedures or at birth, and a follow-up appointment at home to make sure everyone has all the resources they will need (meal train, referrals to counseling & support groups, assistance with physical recovery, and more). If you have any questions, please let us know. We are here to hold the safe space you need during this time.

Our Fees

Because we believe that every family experiencing loss deserves support, we offer a sliding scale fee of $0-$100. Any fees received go toward continuing education and training to better serve those in need of our services. Please do not allow your financial situation to prevent you from seeking our services.
