Hey y’all! My name is Alyssa Powell. I am currently pursuing my labor doula certification through DONA International with the goal of providing hands-on support to birthing families. I have always found birth to be fascinating, and I feel a deep appreciation for what our bodies can do. I felt a natural pull toward birth work, and everything has fallen into place to lead me here. With a nurturing spirit and a devotion to empowering parents through education and advocacy, I strive to assist parents with creating the environment that they desire in their birthing experiences. I am passionate about honoring each family’s unique journey and choices, as autonomy is something I value deeply.

Fun facts about me! I’m a huge animal lover, so I spend a lot of time volunteering at a cat cafe. When I’m not volunteering, I am either in nature, with a book, or picking up random crafts with my friends!
